Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines how the application "Lifelog" (hereinafter referred to as "the App") handles personal data.
1. Data Collection
The App securely stores your lifestyle data (health, entertainment, meals, GPS routes, etc.) using CloudKit (SwiftData) synced to your iCloud account. Your personally identifiable information is never transmitted to external servers or third-party API providers.
2. External APIs
The App utilizes the following APIs and services to function:
- Apple HealthKit (Health data integration)
- WeatherKit (Weather information)
- MapKit (GPS routes and map display)
- iTunes Search API (Book search)
- TMDb API (Movie and TV show search)
- RAWG API (Game search)
- MyMemory API (Translation support)
- Hotpepper Gourmet API (Restaurant search)
- Open Food Facts API (Food product search)
- Sakenowa API (Sake search)
- Wine API (Wine search)
3. HealthKit Data Usage
Data retrieved from Apple HealthKit is used and stored strictly on your own device and personal iCloud. It is never shared with third parties or used for advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your private data to outside parties without your consent, except as required by law.
5. Advertising
The free version displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information such as the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline App Tracking Transparency, you will see non-personalized ads. For EEA/UK users, consent is collected via a consent management platform. See Google's Privacy Policy. Ads are removed with the Premium plan.
6. Your Rights
Your records are stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud; the developer cannot access them. You can delete data at any time in the app or by deleting the app (and its iCloud data). You can disable tracking anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
